    Superjet Steering System

I like your set screw idea! Also, your shoulder bolt idea is good too! I just found some that would work on McMaster! lol maybe I will order one sometime this summer.

    Superjet Steering System

Just pulled this set up apart for the first time. 3 seasons of use, riding twice a week. Some surf riding too. Had to adjust the collar every few weeks. I do that by loosening the collar, turning a M16 Nut up against it, then tightening the collar, then backing the nut off. Takes 2minutes. I...

Anyone Ride Glassy water, near the freezing point?

I totally agree with point # 1. When riding super glassy water, it's hard to even stay upright sometimes. You don't have any reference point. super weird feeling. Super fun too!

64x CDI Test (stop circuit failing)

Not running away, responds accordingly to slight changes in idle screw adjustments, and stops running when i pull the plugs. I don't think so.

64x CDI Test (stop circuit failing)

    Career out of High school

I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and that opened up so many doors. Maybe all of them. I am a manufacturing engineer now. I'm no rich man, but I have job security and a good living. One thing I have learned is this: The closer you are to the money, the more you make. Get close to the...

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

Ok, thanks for confirming that! You mean closer to the actual boat producing the wake? So hit the wake before it curls?

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

Nice looking flip! It looks like I also have to keep my knees bent when I snap my head back. I am straightening my legs. It seems like most people keep them bent. Maybe that gets you closer to center of gravity?

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

I see what you mean. Your video is a great view point! Thanks for that!

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

Thanks for watching the vids! I think you are right. Maybe a little fast. Also, The above people talked about pushing into the troff, which I am definitely not doing. I am pretty much just leaning back very early. I am running a JM 718. My setup seems weak though. Not the motor's fault...

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

Let's see if those links work. The "Attempt 2" video is what I took the screenshots from.

    Thank you for the advice!

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

Thank you for the advice! That will be hard to commit to since it is counter intuitive lol. In this image, it looks like Lee is leaning back with his butt out, but I is much later than I am doing. Right before this, he does lean forward into the troff, like you said.

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

I am pulling trim. I noticed that as well. I noticed that most people are able to get their nose totally clear of the wake. Maybe the wake is too steep? The boat is going 12mph, and I feel like I'm not going too fast. I am going fast enough to be in the mid range power. Maybe you are right!

    Not enough rotation (Back Flips)

Hey guys, I will jack this thread to avoid starting a new one. I am under rotating on my boat wake flips. I have seen videos of people putting zero effort into their first attempts, barely snaping their head back, yet getting further around than my attempts. I am trying my best to get that...

    Too much ain't enough!

My apologies! I didn't intend it to sound mean. I am more excited to see how a JS bottom hull will react in the water with this motor!

    Too much ain't enough!

Please don't modify the hull. I want to see what happens.
