I agree you learn a lot when you build a ski, but I would rather spend my time working on my riding skills, instead of my building skills.

Thanks to all for clairfying this matter. All make sense now, build a $25k ski ride it for a summer and sell it for $18k. Man I wish I would have waited a year to get a ski $5k-$7k less and not have to spend all tha time dealing with buying the right parts and building it. Nice to know members...

Pretty good turn out for such a cold and windy day, but the water was great. Felt like we were jet skiing in a jacuzzi. Met some really great guys and had an awesome time. Thanks to all who showed up to make this another safe and fun ride. Looking forward to doing this rode again next year.

I sure hope it does as this is always a fun ride. I personally vote for the ride date to be on Saturday October 1st, but someone else will need to step up and coordinate it this year as I have way too much on my plate right now.
