Nah! I have high confidence in you! You've got this.
P.S. What are your thoughts of cutting out the "floor area" on the BOB fiberglass pieces and just use your carbon floor and the side pieces from the BOB kit? Might be easier than filling the gap. Just an idea.
@Vumad I agree with you, we have to stop sending X2 owners away. Great thread!
Me, me, me!!! My wife and I both have Superjets and I just picked up two X2 hulls, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with them yet (and that's for a different thread anyway).
Jeremy, nice work man! You're making some crazy progress. I can't wait to see it done!
Just FYI - I've had really good luck with resin NOT sticking to gorilla tape. Used that method 3 or 4 times now.
P.S. What are you using for resin? US Composites 635 Fast?
In regards to this specific build... No progress at all. Owning a home, travelling for work, and many summer shenanigans have all gotten in the way!
But in regards to the sport...
-I picked up a few hulls; planning future projects and I want to give fixed steer a try!
-My wife and I have been...
Woooo build thread!!!! Subscribed.
I miss that group... I guess a good portion of them are gone now, but I'm glad to see stand-ups live on!! :)
Good call. I made that mistake.
Nice work!
Why did you fill the engine mounts like that? I've never seen that done before. I can only assume to add strength, but I didn't know the engine mounts needed strength added to them?
