Find yourself a soccer mom wagon. I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna with dark tint so nobody can see in. I always have the rear seats removed. I also did helper air bags in the rear so it doesn't squat so much.
It holds 2 skis inside and will do 2 gas cans and a beach cart on the hitch hauler...
I'd go new. Those bearings are cheap.
Some cranks come with new wrist pin bearings so you might be all set anyway.
I have some spare bearings if you need them.
