New Impros Hooker Impeller for Yamaha

I have a feeling you'll be able to dry out your pipe a little bit more now, and get more mid range power out of it.

New Impros Hooker Impeller for Yamaha

I swapped out my 13-16 3mm cutback concord for a 10-16 Hooker and was really impressed with the way it loads the pump. It's 'loose' enough at idle to let the engine spin up fast, then 'tightens up' once the rpms increase. It feels like the pump has massive traction on the last 18" of my set-up...

Please help flatten out my SXR rolls!

You need to go back to something similar to get your technique back. Whenever my rolls get sloppy, I go back to big, floaty broncos. You can focus on staying centered on the ski (not getting off to one side like some nose stabs), and keep the nose down for that nice smooth inverted sub. Once you...

Please help flatten out my SXR rolls!

You need to get the ski to do more work. You're doing a great job throwing yourself over the side of your ski, but you need to change your thinking. You need to get the tail to come up over your head. Since you're stuck on rolling off boat wakes and you roll left, you need to approach from the...

    reliability of a 16mm stroker?

25%! C'mon man - it's only a 5/8" stroker. My 5/16" stroker is holding together just dandy. :-) Like Darin said though, it'll have a shorter life than stock. HOWEVER, when you consider that Yamaha designed 'stock' for 1000 hours, a shorter life really isn't that bad.

Man, I need to go next year so that you can get some shots of someone upside-down. :-) Looks like there were plenty of people there.

    X metal steering pros/cons/reviews???

The Xmetal steering set-up is a solution for a future problem. If you get a UMI set-up it will work great for a little while. Then it will wear out, and you'll start replacing bearings and always be tightening up the lock nut. The Xmetal set-up is cheaper, and better long term. There's less...

Selling hulls with a HIN or selling HIN tags without a hull---legal???

Can you title it as a homebuilt in KY? That might be easier than chasing down the title.

SuperJETT's squarenose topdeck conversion - COMPLETE

In a tail stand, the exhaust will not be sucked into the pump inlet like it would with rear exhaust. This comes in handy for monkey jumps.

SuperJETT's squarenose topdeck conversion - COMPLETE

Darin was close with his exhaust, but he's too low and too far forward. I'm pretty happy with my location.
