Yeah you really need to use a rubber gasket to seal the fuel tank if you are going to use the filler neck like that... I have tried many fuel safe rtv's on a fuel cell I had and nothing lasted. I replaced it with a rubber gasket and it has been good ever since.

I did it to mine at it started bogging down low and would try to stall off idle... I plugged it back up and when right back to normal. So I just left it like that, but not sure why it started doing that....
someone on here had the spec's posted up I am sure you could search and find them or check a service manual I am sure there is one you can download... but before you take them out screw them in and count the turns so when you put it back together you can start from there...
Yea I figure the stock plate would loosen it up some. and the riva groovy I have is extended so I think it is holding down the front alot, so I think it will be a big difference just going back to stock.
I just wanted to make sure because not many people talk about blaster plates all you hear...
