Have you tried a lightweight kawi based hull? Night and day difference. That will accelerate your learning curve.

I have some just need some help from Cody. He's like 75% on flips. He just got back on a ski and burned maybe 10gals in this boat. At the river that was the third session he really rode that ski. Also the first time in the surf in years.
