1) You don't need DOT or Snell approved for water.
2) Standard MX style are heavy, add water to the mix and you'll need a linebackers neck.
3) Standard MX style don't have vents for water to pass thru. Bail the wrong way at a good clip and that'll make your head turn into a scoop grate.

whats the pisser do flow-wise when riding?
Is the ski tuned right? i.e. Sure it's not overheating from lean condition and squeeking a piston?
Have you tried backflushing? Might not be in the hoses but a fitting or internal. The pump hole should be the size of a pen or a little larger, say...
FWIW I heard it's damn near impossible to tune that pipe for single carb use and not advisable due to possible grenading. YMMV.
I'm sure some of the experts can come and support or debunk this.
I guess I'm the only one going out on a limb here with the thinking that if your wrist pin bearings are that F'd your crank isn't going to be much better. :jester: Even so then wrist pin journals are probably pitted to hell and it's going to negate everything.

I've heard from my local shop that antiseize can to that... similiar metals joined by a disimiliar metal (antiseize) causing welding. Don't know if it's true but never chanced it to find out... strictly teflon thread sealant for me.
Because with it widened in the rear you're not going to get as much throw right to left.. remember most shave off a lot of material on the nozzle after doing the quick-steer mods.
I used the rattle can Appliance Epoxy and had no such problems with either the white or black. But I did use one of those gun attachments for the can as you'll wear your finger raw using just the regular can tip.
