Jet drags next saturday. Radar runs start at 9:00 am. Drags start at Noon. The staging platform has been tested and works great. It should be a awesome time.
Some pics of the fuel cell. Its not one bulkhead like the ski. It consists of wing skins to align and assembly bulkheads, baffles, ribs, vents and pickups with no leaks in question. With fuel cells on both sides of the plane plus a 30 gal header tank in the rear of the cabin. Its also a major...
This will be only skis. The promoter is one of the best so it should be very cool. I heard there are suppose to be some 100 mph skis. Then may 3rd and 4th Josh and Lloyd are putting on a local show at a bar called Siggys in Palm Bay. Its right off of 1-95 in a little lake in front of the bar...
Reading this stuff gets me fired up. I watched Jonny run some laps on Josh's lightweight, insane just makes me laugh. Working on a ton of stuff all at once, so when the dust settles in the next couple months will see whats there. All race parts will be done with Jonny's testing input. We want to...
No foam. Its sealed as good as a carbon plane fuel cell in a wing. Josh's ski has had pressure build from the sun. You could hear the ski hiss at times when the screws/plugs were pulled after riding. I hate foam. For those who want added safety and flotation it can come from a dirt bike inner...
Watertop Unlimited.com (Tim McKercer) is putting on some crazy drag racing. Just know the date and time like cracker said. Some serious couches staging on a metal rig side by side to blast down the straight. Josh will ride a little. I'm waiting to see this, like cracker said come check it out...
Here are some pics of the upper and lower glued together. In the shots you can see the hardware is setup for all stock placement for waterbox and stock tank. Need to run some carbon tape down the bond line and it ships to Sean next week. Few more pics to come. I need a shot of a reading on the...
He's scared. Too much pressure. Too much to lose. Give it up Mike it will never happen. Just go do it yourself. Mount your camera on the front of the ski. :bsflag:
It will be lowered. I'm going to work with Lloyd Burlew on the layout and feel so it should be crazy. Theres some things to finish first but the sj hood will happen. Too many guys are asking for one not to.:bigok:
Thanks guys for the sales. I can't wait to hear from him. I got a pm and he said he was going to call me after he spent some time riding. Glad ever one is happy. They don't just look good, Josh has been beating the piss out of a 7 pounder for six months now. And it still looks great...
Thanks Brian for the purchase. It was great talking with you. Thanks big K for the compliments. Just sold another evo after I talked to performance one if I can get the ski built and to the shipping container on time. Thanks again to all who have helped me. :Banane01:
The next time I talk to you I will explain. I use four different adhesives through out the build. All for specific reasons to bond different materials.
Plumbing is done. Engine bed plates are in. Next week the upper and lower will be glued together. Then ship it out. I'll put up pics of the finishing work when its done.
