The bendix on my sj likes to not engage sometimes. At the recommendations of others I took it off last season and let it soak in some motor oil, that didn't work. This time I have it off and soaking in gasoline so it gets good and clean... Question is, what do I lube it with to keep it moving...

On my kawai 550 I put it in a ziplock bag full of air and then stuffed it in the fire extinguisher tube, I figured that way if it fell out there is a chance it will still be floating. On the sj, same thing the bag of air helps act like a cushion, i just whipped it under the hood and let 'er rip.

how about rough idea of how many turns on the needles? also, on the smaller jet I don't see numbers, how do I know what size it is? I am ready for a test fire, got the engine swapped over today... Now if I can just find an affordable pipe, then I can do this all over again.
