Get an AC pole they are fairly cheap and then cut it and reweld it...or save the money for an aftermarket pole, I am quite sure you can get an x-metal non adjustable for arround $ 300-400 ...

I would replace the oem handlebars they will snap The gap looks to big to me !

X-metal gave me warranty on my XS 771 after half a season due to airleak in cases ( was assembled by them) I just had to pay shipping they also replaced the cranks seals with oem seals and checked short block for any further damages and I think that was more than generous !! I think it all...
