Its number 7 Matrix. Originally Johnny wanted a Matrix for a surf ski. He is now finishing a 951 conversion on his first Trinity SXR hull and wants a second SXR 951 instead of the Matrix. The second hull will be a back up race ski.

You don't need $30,000 to have one. A Matrix ES hull at $5,000 plus a donor ski for parts and your in the water. If you were resourceful you could have a complete ski for around $8,000. This is what is being done now for a demo to show the potential of a baseline package.
He told me he liked it. I asked him what he didn't like about the hull and he said there was nothing he didn't like. He did say the steering was too quick for his liking and the ski had less power than he preferred.
