Was there something “Super” on TV, yesterday? Cause the lake was a ghost town. Just me and Dyno and the ducks. Water temp was reasonable (on the surface). Air temp was close to 80!

Cold winter day.
52 degree water. 52 degree air. Gloomy ass, rainy day. I rode, but did not get wet, because I am a weenie. Rodney, has polar bear blood, and had no such problems.
What bearings are you running in the top end? Conventional/Caged, or Sea Doo cageless? If you're not running cageless...don't go more than 50 hours on that[Billet] top end.
Westcoast used to mount their [total loss] electrics in a custom box above the flywheel cover. BlunderJet/PJS did something similar, but was rubber mounted to the top of the flywheel cover.
Anyhoo... rubber mount if possible and loctite the sh*t out of any hardware and you should be fine.
Since I don't compete any more...I'm usually done by Halloween...Thanksgiving at the latest. But....the weather and the water temps are still reasonable.
