You're using an OEM pump seal, yes? When you open an OEM, or aftermarket pump shoe up... do you still have enough surface for that seal?

Here's what I have tentavely planned, if I decide to take a dremel to it. If I do match the rear scoop to the pump shoe, it is removing a good sized portion of the "scoop" and I would have to reshape the inside to retrieve some of the original countour. Plus, look at the gap on the side of...

Any one care to comment? I'm about ready to get the dremel out. If I do, then there's no possibility of exchanging it for something else.

You'll need a square nose cable. It's longer than the round nose cable. Or, just ring Thrust and they'll have an aftermarket cable that will work.
