What motor, what exhaust, what prop? We dont have enough info........... Sounds like you have a prop that is pitched to low and it is giving you all the thrust it will.

Same here........ Submitting the pricing of the additional work to them, so basically its value and what our bid would have been, They are going to look at it then guess negotiate some. They have a good relationship with owners here. This is kinda a small town. They understand mistakes...

You would need to have a rod or bolt to hold prop in place.

But prop on a table with a speed square touching the blades. Rotate blades and see if there are any gaps around the area where it would have been rubbing.

I use to have to grind my wear ring some from swelling, better that then the prop wear. Right now you are probably ok, But I would look into replaceing the WR and inspecting the prop.
