I think the acceleration should be comparable to the 2020 if you do the power to dry weight ratio is
2020- 4.19 Lbs to 1 hp
2021- 3.75 Lbs to 1 hp
SXR1500 -3.44 Lbs to 1 hp
I think your right about that. If you really think about it Yamaha lost Australia as a market last year with the 2 stroke ban but then also limited sales based on being for competition use only. Add those to up and yamaha may have been taking loses on the RN in the last couple years. Im excited...
I cut mine on my RN because it was pretty tedious putting the hood back on without hitting the front cowl. I probably cut about half the length and it goes on alot easier now.
Im really surprised the throttle cable isnt fly by wire also this ski needs turf right away. I heard they are only sending 800 units so this baby beluga is an endangered species right off the bat.
Yeah i thought my KTM was 100% Austria but then when I had to change a tube I found out the tube was 100% made in china. Now whos going to get their new baby beluga (sj4) first?
Look at all the other negative posts. Besides sarcasm doesnt come across the keyboard well. I seen the pics of the nee SJ and I can say I have mixed feeings about the looks, Performance wise we will see.
I think you are just fine my brand new ski does that same thing so i think you are right on point with the tuning. I think it takes a few seconds for the carbs to fill with fuel
I wonder how big or small the gas tank and range will be. Also whos ready to buy oil filters and perform other maintenance on their SJ’s. I cant wait till the issues start popping up on the forums like “my throttle body is dirty” or “I think i have a bad fuel pump”. Let the valve lash clearance...
I think the pic is a setup and its just a GP1 under a superjet cover to create hype. Wouldnt be surprised/disappointed if its just hype and we get the same ski and graphics as the last 3 years.
Ive been studying the photo and the SJ seems as if something has been stuffed under the cover in the front where the plastic nose cowling is to give the impression of a different shape. Kinda like a noodle has been wrapped around the front doing a u-turn ending in the back.
