Easy Fuel issue but im not sure

The easy way to remember where the lines go on a BN as well as an SBN is fuel comes in low (fills from the bottom, when full to the top it more or less overflows) and returns high. The pulse line is in the middle. Yes, I know...so simple even a "kaveman" can do it!

I would recommend making the time to do the tuning. You could be on the edge of serious problems. All it could take is some inferior fuel (which is not a stretch at all with the presence of ethanol in it today) and a few seconds longer at high rpm to manifest itself:lightning: . It is ALOT...

cant figure it out. ski keeps dying (FIXED IT)

Run a compression test on the engine. If the combustion chamber is leaking gases into the water jacket at the head gasket it will heat up the sensor rather quickly. When this happens the rev limit is somewhere in the 2000-3000 rpm range. Another possible cause is the ignition coil. It could be...

An airleak will cause a lean condition. Do a leakdown and verify that the engine is sealed properly. Because both plugs show the same condition, if you do have a leak look for something common to both cylinders such as the intake manifold, carbureter base gasket, exhaust manifold and head pipe...

.018 a lot too much ring gap?

Keep in mind that these are NEW rings. Once you run them an hour or so the rings are going to seat themselves in the bore. As this happens the ring end gap will increase. I would check the 6 bore measurements and compare them to the actual piston size and advertised size. Most likely you will...

    Midshaft/PTO Issue

On the superjet there is one length for the intermediate shaft. What you need to do is remove the intermediate shaft assembly and press the shaft out some. Leave yourself about 1/8" between the two halves. Measure the distance you currently have, subtract 1/8" and press the shaft out that much...

cant figure it out. ski keeps dying (FIXED IT)

What did the plugs look like when you changed them? Were they wet with water? Were they wet with fuel? Were they black and carboned up? Were they white and dry? Have you verified spark under load using an inline spark tester?

    Anyone have Tubbie Install Instructions

No problem here either. Took em out and filled the holes and edges with a paste made of lightweight filler and epoxy, sanded smooth and all is good with 2 rides of 2 days in the surf.

    Anyone have Tubbie Install Instructions

I put them on a ski for my friend. He seems to really like them. States that they made a huge difference. We put them 33 1/2" from the rear of the hull. The rear of the tubbie is 3" off the bottom of the hull. The front is 1/2" off the bottom of the hull. Again this was on a 1994 sxi. I've never...

    Anyone have Tubbie Install Instructions

I put some race tubbies on a 750 last year and we actually had to move them back a couple of inches because they wouldn't wrap around the hull. If you want my specs or blowsions call me. 817 296 6491.

    Oil mix ratio ? ? ? ?

My ski has it all (see frankenstein/superbeast in "my ski")I run 40:1 but I don't do any high speed runs. If you are doing some extended high speed runs then I would go 32:1. You cannot replace quantity with quality.

Yes, this is for Sunday May 20, 2007 Crystal Beach at the Penguins. I told Dwain I'd put up $100. I think maybe he is planning on getting his $50 the ONLY way he can...by taking it off the top. So there it is newbies. If you have never rolled here's $100 to the first one of you to do it on...
