I would like to help you but to be honest if you have done this to the carbs and cleaned them the way you have talked about
I suggest you take them to a shop and get them sorted
I dont think your knowlodge lvl is enough to rejet these carbs and you will more thna likely end up with an expensive...
assuming alot of things ie deck height of cylinder and your measurements are correct
that is giving you about 187 degrees exhaust
it could run fine like that
I am wondering why it is 80.75 unless it was an old stroker engine cylinder
what is the height on the transfers from the top
After speaking to alot of engine builders
and having done alot my self the one i have found to date with the best knowlodge to date would have to be Chuckie
He gave me a few small pointers that i hadnt thought of that made my race ski come alive
If i didnt build my own engines and i didnt live...
I am working on a 142mm skat pump running a hooker impeller with dave from impros at the moment
It goint to be interesting
this will be going into my 08 super jet
yes they are
A good carb , and a nice upgrade as well
You wil find they are machined so that the throttle plate has some thing to close on
other wise it would be closing on a cast surfcae and it would not be able to seal off the air correctlly
They always are bigger on the top then the bottom the 46 is not measured at the top
The top looks as cast from mikuni to me
Normally a taper bored carb will look alot larger on the top than what youa re seeing there
