It’s built into the newer cameras and you need an NVR with the newer hardware to run them. I don’t know the rev number off the top of my head.
I went from a few hundred alerts a day from just 2 cameras to less than 50 from 6 cameras. And those 50 alerts are mostly legit with either the mail...
Not with the AI cameras.
On the phone app, you can click on the schedule in the email notifications and only select people and cars for email alerts. That eliminates 95% of the false alerts.
Pretty sure the 812 will be lit all the time, not just on motion. And if you turn it off, then it doesn’t have night vision.
I am very happy with the RLC-823 PTZ as it has pan zoom tilt features, plus a motion activated spotlight.
The correct answer is to actually take more time off. We are playing with this scenario now as our project manager has basically burned himself out and is now having to take time off for health and family issues.
The first few weekends were rough but we all stepped up and now any one of us can...
An injector just takes care of the POE part of the equation if you are bypassing the NVR itself.
POE stands for Power Over Ethernet which is typically 48VDC.
Now, they do make video balluns that will send power over an ethernet cable and they usually have the same DC type plug that the wireless...
The info screen should show the hardware number.
I’ve played with the Alexa options but all require you to have your cameras on your local network rather than plugged directly into the NVR, this means buying a POE switch for your regular cams or an injector for each one you wish to control...
I have not. The Wi-Fi cams are all lower resolution so I never bother unless Reolink sends them to me to demo. Most are 1080P but the are just now starting to bring out 4MP models where POE models are up to 12P.
What feature do you like about them? The spotlight? They offer POE versions with...
I also retired my old corded electric stapler and picked up the M12 T50 electric stapler. I don’t use it often but it is a very handy tool.
The deal I wish I hadn’t passed on was the M18 orbital sander with 2.0 battery for $119. The tool alone is $129.
Home depot keeps popping up daily deals that are too good to pass up.
I snagged the 4.5" Fuel Angle Grinder for $179 with a 5.0 battery a few weeks ago, (Reg $309). The same kit was offered for $159 for a day or two but you had to be quick because it sold out fast.
ScottS came over and we...
I passed on a few deals over the last couple weeks waiting to see what popped up for Black Friday and so far I'm not impressed.
Plus everything seems to be either sold out online or not available for delivery.
Not sure if this is a function of low inventory or a push to get people back into...
I wear $24 drug store readers and listen to a tv more than I watch it so I could actually care less about picture quality, at least not about the highest quality possible anyways.
I typically buy Sony for home but have had great luck with the Hitachi, Vizio, LG and other sub $700 tv’s. Even...
Here ya go, under $200 and even has a muddy truck pic to demonstrate it does exactly what you need.

I thought there was an option to get the mats like mine...
