Testing the cams for the live FREERIDE steam, let me know how they look/work. Going to have two cams down on the beach this year instead of my balcony.

Big sloppy victory at sea conditions right now....whos riding tomorrow?? 70F with rain in the afternoon. I am going to try and be at the zone between 10-11.
I checked the ocean temp here at the beach tonight.
66-67F in Ormond. I am a cold water pansy and this water is not cold at all. I rode in boardshorts on Tues, and I was not cold once.
And next week doesnt look like much of a cold spell....lol
Another option. Still has the ability for the hull to drain while riding, but will stop you from immediately swamping the ski if it goes upsidedown. Remove scupper flapp. Cut an aluminum plate to match the scupper hole. Drill a hole in the plate for versi plug, and mount versi plug to...
Sorry, I didnt take any pics today because I rode 2 tanks. Cannot beat surfriding in boardshorts in Jan. Recap 4 Rickters, a SWEET Superfreak, polaris, and an FX1 all on the beach today. Thx KCMasterpiece for the pic.
The "number" on the inside of the rickter hull is just a serial number. In NJ, the state police have to inspect the ski to make sure it was never a production boat that was already issued a HIN. I printed the RRP website and showed it to the officer doing the inspection. Then you have to...
Ya I'll def be breaking in the makai zone tomorrow. But not until 2-3pm. Have to drop the gf off in orlando earlier. Surf said small also on Saturday and it still turned out good on set. Plus its going to be almost 75F and sunny.
Sorry this is the best pic I have. Remove the POS scupper on the rickter! Its JUNK! Replace with a metal plate with surface mount versaplug. Still allows hull to drain, and your ski can still survive upside down for a few minutes without sinking.
I helped drag a regular FS2 (not mine) in the surf that was completely swamped. The ski floated on the surface just fine. Not sure if he had any added foam though.
Unrelated is RRP using real hyrdoturf on the trays? That looks alot better then the s___ they used to preturf.
