The 38's will be great and the engine will have nice throttle response. But you are missing out on a good amount of HP choking that big bore with baby carbs. :) Manifold will be fine for full throttle runs/racing.

You should be running dual 46's on that setup. Wax worked with one of the industries leading exhaust builders in the design of the headpipe and manifold for maximum ponies. So should be good. :)
