check if stator negative if its melted , I assume starter went out ( got stuck if your negative on battery melted ) I would open up e box to see what other damage was caused ....
again as always opinions will differ ...
either way battery is trash , we had a ski catch on fore once, since then I always remove battery completely for transport and for charging disconnected from circuit....'' I might be paranoid but once u see that ski on fire things change

I have been running non girdled for years now but 35cc 185LBS 91 Octane , I doubt that little raised compression will require girdle kit as long as everything else is tight.
Make sure to get your jetting right the B- Pipe will come to life with the raised...

Did u check the head pipe sprayers are all actually spraying in the Coffman's head pipe ?
Does your Coffman's have 2 or 3 exit water bypass ? 1 or 2 on exhaust manifold side ?
Single cooling I assume how did you route your water lines ?
