either your glue is old(or not red can dap weldwood) or your not letting the glue dry all the way before sticking. you should never need two layers one is plenty.

really? ive fallen into the pole MANY times and the limiting rope saved my pole/hull every time! but ive broken beaners, pulled eye bolts straight, and collapsed eyelets. lol

i did it just to be sure the pole wouldnt seperate, break, or crack bracket. worked great. i dont have any pictures but im sure someone out there has a pic of something similar.

you have to glue the pole to the bracket, just the rivets/bolts arent enough to hold it. i wrapped the base and pole in fiberglass and carbon fiber.

for flatwater riding i would say they get the job done, but not very well. its all i use in the surf, but i ride 100% surf stance.

look into getting a stock ride plate. it will keep the nose up and pole closer to you.

thats what i was thinking, put filler around on all the foam then put a piece of fiberglass on top of the filler wet it out, slide the pipe in on the wet epoxy/fiberglass. mix up filler and chopped strand with white dye, fill around tube and smooth out, let cure, trim and sand. or with no dye...

pump brackets suck, just epoxy the base to the hull!

"extra" skis get dissasembled to keep the "good" ski running from my experience. takes lots of self control to keep them seperate!
