Backup ski

Looking at a 701 SN ski this week
strictly as a backup in case of problems so I can still ride
it may end up a trailer queen, but
who else has an "extra" ski just in case?

yeah, but it has a 701 and I am on a 650 now
can part it out and make my money back if I need to :439:

I have three back up skis. Stan is exactly right, the backups get jacked for parts to keep your good ski running. I have a '98 SJ, '91 SJ, and a '96 Blaster with parts missing now, and I promised myself to keep those three intact as "back up" skis.

if the backup gets robbed to keep the main ski running then it has served its purpose... ride time

2 skis - try to keep both running. when 1 breaks - ride the other till it breaks. When it breaks - then you gotta figure out which one is easier/quicker/cheaper to fix and rob parts from the other.
