The one thing I will say about Jeff is he's a great salesman. Talk with him for ten minutes and he'll have you believing he's about to launch the next great thing in freestyle
Both skis are purpose built for flat water freestyle, the quality and ride of the rok-r is light years ahead of the gen2. The gen2 utilizes a bulge in the bottom of the hull to get its pop rather then rocker like other hulls, causing questionable handling characteristic's.

It all depends on what your looking for, for flips you want some short, wide and lots of rocker. For more of a rec ride you want something a little longer. It all comes down to personal preference. The best advice I can give you is ride before you buy!!!
