I don't think they are rebuildable. It looks like they are pressed together from the factory. A new crank assembly is about $650 but so is a replacement engine online. Yamaha 701 superjet. Very reliable and plenty of power so you won't get bored with it anytime soon as a new rider. I picked up a really nice square nose a couple of years ago for $1700. Once you get a season or two on that you can either upgrade it or look for something else.

Oh okay I see it now. On the FX1 it looks like it's held in by three screws that go in through the back of the cargo compartment. I could see the two nuts on my square nose but I couldn't figure out how it was held in on my FX.
