I have never ridden a Trixtar in the surf, but I have ridden a couple flatwater. I think they would actually make a pretty good occasional surf hull or for something like lake surf.

I find it funny that Waterdawg tried this WAY before it was a thing, and much like the laydown pipe and the billet 66E nobody paid much attention until many years later.

My crappy caliper really looks to read 68mm stroke. That was my first assumption.

Pulled this from a superjet I just bought with no information or history. Has 61x cylinders, looks like 84mm pistons, roughly 2mm spacer plate under cylinder, porting. Near as I can tell it is stock stroke (best measurement I could get with a caliper depth gauge), cylinder looks to be 117-118mm...

Started tearing down my superjet to get it surf ready and found this. Never thought I'd be disappointed to stumble on a ported, big bore stroker.

Plan on late season (September, October), waves tend to be better than summer.
