theres a camping area after mile marker 2. you cant miss it as the camp area is also the area where you can ride quads or dirtbikes and 90% of the visitors will be.
as far as skis? idk this time of year the surf is deadly. i wouldnt want my kids out there!
no, but the locals never ride at the...
too small and you will lose stability, lenzis boat looked incredibly difficult to surf ride.
the rickter rips the surf
stick with stock unless you got money to burn.
ok benny your using too much resin, use about 2/3 of what your using now.
your prep work looked kinda lacking also, you really need to scuff it up with a heavy grit like 60-100.
other than those 2 things your doing great! good job bro!
crossing big walls of white is easy with the right tech.
dont plow straight into it, this will usually just beat you up and tire you out fast.
dont jump over it, you wont make it and it will beat you up still
come at the wall at an angle and turn into the wave and stay on the throttle. you will...
as far as i can tell surf stance needs to hit the wave later and steeper and go bigger because the rotation is much slower. timing and wave selection is critical opposed to having all your weight in back and flipping of rollers. i need a near vert wave.
i will never ride footholds, not my thing.
im sure i could roll and flip in footholds, but why? stay surf stance all the time and increase the difficulty and style in everything you do. im surprised theres noone riding flatwater in surf stance, someone should.
keep workin at it, try rolling with your arms bent at different lengths, try to zero in and do it till your muscles have a memory.
also try a slight preturn to give the tail some more pop.
i went through this phase for months before i could work the tail down. i think the problem was my body positioning as i went off the lip, i was leaning too far forward.
practice.
