    you could be right there chucky its hard to tell from the pics and something i seem to be doing is sending me blind Personally I think this engine needs to be sent home so they can look at it correctly and not in fuzzy pics on the internet

    I think he is trying to show that he has checked the pistons coming to tdc at the same height The pics dont show that but I am guessing he has done it since he said perfectly aligned rods like he has checked them

    I think unless you need it dont do it the 155 prop is heavier and will take away from your throttle response

    OK thanks So you are looking at physical damage there. the piston shows no sign of overheating etc. So its not a tunning issue, its a clearance issue What does the top of the exhaust port look like is there hammering marks from the piston smacking into it??     Ahh yes of course qjs they dont run a std water box do they. My bad read the whole thread Wax!!! I had the issue with a ski ( mine ) of discovering that the 2008 onwards water box is more restrictive than the previous ones Took a few pistons to figure out what it actually was
