FIRST FREESTYLE SKI TRIXSTAR OR BRAWLER

The Chan is actually pretty fun in smaller surf.

What's your view look like today?

Tried to pretty this thing up a little, nailed it on the bottom deck. Totally failed matching the hood to the hull. I might go back at it with a semi gloss black.

    Remove second spring on 38s?

    Done, much better. Thanks all.

    Remove second spring on 38s?

Is just running one not advisable? Do people run two on aftermarket duals?

    Remove second spring on 38s?

Has anybody ever taken the second throttle return spring off a set of dual 38s? They seem to exaggerate my arm pump, my dual 46s only have one spring and it seems much better.

    New addiction

Upon moving back to Florida I found there is a bunch of nice singletrack near me so I thought I might dip my toes into the mountain bike world. I have never owned and dont know much about it but I scooped a Trek X Caliber 7 29er with a couple upgrades. It has a nice pair of pedals and a dropper...

I have a superjet for that, this is just for fun.

    Lengthening hull

If someone thinks this is a horrible idea, feel free to give me $2400 and save this hull.

    Lengthening hull

I was actually thinking something very similar but sectioning out just the pump area (red) and shifting that back, then exhaggerating the angled portion on the rear (blue), leaving as much of the hull structure in tact as possible, reducing the chances of breakage and hopefully lessening the...

    Lengthening hull

    I'm on board with this.

    Lengthening hull

PJX, I considered this as well, but the rear pump mounts would be in space...and I want more than 4".

    Lengthening hull

I don't think that will result in the ride I want, the hull area behind the engine assembly is SO much shorter than most any other hull which results in the rider weight being pretty far behind the center of mass or the center of the riding surface. The long plate kind of addresses this but...

    Lengthening hull

I have a super long rideplate, I haven't tried it yet but am sceptical. Too much hassle is relative to it either sitting in my garage and never getting ridden or selling it for next to nothing. It's just fiberglass.

    Lengthening hull

I did see that, I want to go further and actually move the entire pump assembly back. The distance between bulkhead and turn nozzle IMO is too short to effectively just lengthen the hull bottom. I want to move it all back.

    Lengthening hull

Yeah, I feel like it is a very unique riding hull, much different than anything else I have been on. I am curious to what it would be like if it was longer. The market to just sell it seems non existent and the lake is further than the ocean.

    Lengthening hull

With all these shortened hull builds over the years, I have to ask, has anybody lengthened a hull? I've got a super short freestyle ski collecting dust in my garage and last night I got my mind right and started to work through it in my head. Thinking of sectioning the hull around the intake...
