Depends on how often you are having to start your ski. If you are new to riding and falling off constantly and having to crank a poorly tuned ski probably wont last that long.
I am running the Wax manifold and head pipe with a fp mod chamber on a ported 718 dual 38's and oem cdi. Cant say I noticed any difference in performance (lake rec ski). However, I didn't have to open up the mani and headpipe with a grinder or spend another 50$ on upgraded water adjustment screws.
If you are close enough I would highly highly recommend doing an appleseed with your daughter. You will love it as well and learn a ton. Best done with a 10/22 but can also do with an AR.

Well you gotta get a better trigger or at least polish and clean up the stock one. And since you are old you will want a bi-pod and 3x magnifier for the red dot. Or better yet just get a 1-6x AR optic for it. And then if you really want to spend some money get a 458 socom upper for it. =) Or...
