gelcoat is strong but the very bottom it will still come off(beachin, it just norm use)

in the surf its 90% flatwater 30% just wonderin if i did less of a d if id gain a little

i d-cut my ride plate last season,loved it for the most part.in the surf only issue i have is sometimes i go to slash to lip of a wave and wind up slidin over it.in the lake it acts like a big block on ice.keeps you on your toes you turn and the next thing you know your goin backwards plate...
