Call or PM Virgin on the X (Thrust ) http://www.thrustinnovations.com/ he's a RRP dealer & has built lots of FS 1 both Fiberglass & Carbon. Your not saving much weight from Fiberglass to Carbon for the extra $$$ IMO.

Based on another X members build your not going to see a really light Rickter. I think I seen 113lbs hull & Hood I believe. My Stock RN Superjet weighted 101 + hood. If your looking for light you might want to checkout Trinity, EME, or a Carbon SJ like mine.

I did the complete RRP steering with 50mm bars. I love them, everything about the set up is great! Yamaslut did some riser mtn bike bars that Are about the same. Like butti said the complete set up moves you right over the pivot and makes the ski a lot of fun in the surf.

No plans to ride, will have my boat at the spot again tomorrow.

I used one layer of 11 oz Carbon with 3:1 Epoxy. Looks great, super strong & didn't add much weight. I also used 5.7 oz Carbon Tape under the hood rails. Here's my build thread that has some weights, etc. http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/53015

I would say 13/18 Big Hub Skat would be close, I'm running a 13/18 Big Hub with my 6mil/860, also tried a 14/19 felt about the same with just a little more mid hit.

Either way works trim or no trim. Both Me & Lucas are riding light A/M hulls with lost of Brap! I want to try a BF with one foot fwd & see what happens.

How are you doing them? Surf Stance, or one foot fwd.
