Yeau.... I keep having problems with them. First they rusted, now I properly sealed a new one up... new timing cover seal, silicone over the nose, and a double O ring bearing cap.... And the damn bearing cage jumps a journal bearing in under 5 hours and twists itself tight.

Feel free to send me a starter or starter bearing cap in reparations for my damaged ego...

Actually, they held up fine in the salt, a coat of wax will do the same as annodizing. =] Figured you were talking about fixing what you had... not buying a 3rd.

So just pull them off and polish them up. They should just be media blasted. Thats what my pole started looking like when i finished building it... Hell i didnt even spend the time to use real polishing compounds, i just used car wax and it came out shinier than your picture.
