Old X metal pole help with lenght 42,5"

I found an old style x metal pole which i must have bought last year and then got lost inbetween boxes....omg

Anyway I measured from the bottom to all the way to the top +- 42,5-43" can anyone tell me what lenght this is ?? -2 or -4 ...

measure the distance between the welds

I think 30" is standard, so 28" would be -2, 26" would be -4

Inside welds is 28 so its -2" correct ..??

Hey, guess what ....oem yamaha starter I assume ...?? I just had to replace one of those and was looking for ever, front cap with baring right >>

Yeau.... I keep having problems with them. First they rusted, now I properly sealed a new one up... new timing cover seal, silicone over the nose, and a double O ring bearing cap....


And the damn bearing cage jumps a journal bearing in under 5 hours and twists itself tight.

wow, I just grease the o ring side heavily and also the flywheel gasket and never had any problems...

so you are missing a starter at the moment ..??
