I'm using the 760 cylinder for a reason by moving the cylinder height around I can get the transfers to the perfect height I want to run and then the exhaust is easy. Makes it nicer to port as then im just playing with delivery angle on the transfers and not the heights
THe engine parts are coming along and I have settled on a combination. It will be a 73mm stroke (5mm) with an 85mm bore on a 760 cylinder.
48 novis, v-force 3 reeds. ported cases and cylinder of course. b-mod chamber as its to hard to fit a the limited chamber in there.
Ignition will be an...
It should be a lot better, its a bigger pump with the 75mm hub as well. I will let you know how it goes. NO glassing work just a bolt in is what I am trying to achieve.
This started out as the same pump as your lx by the way. So in reality it would be easier as it does not have to have the back...

Here is the seperate story of my pump build for the ski. Hopefully it works out ok
I got my metal plates back from the lazer cutter and now just need to cut the liner to size and get it welded up. From there I can bolt it on and make the front mounts.
It's a 133 pump on the stator. The inlet is tiny about 115 or something like that. If you see my thread about the mini mag you will see what I am doing with the same pump unit
Ok sweet thanks. I was hoping to not have to change tanks as it makes it really tight in there doesnt it. I would run a limited pipe in a heartbeat but I read it makes it a total swine to fit
Looking at pics of the chambers it seems that other than the dent in it, the chamber is just a shortend up limit chamber. Does anyone else know if this is true. Can you just get a limited chamber and cut some length out of it. Not as much as a mod. A mod was two inches out im thinking of cutting...
Ok well still working away on this thing. I have been busy and so havent done as much as I wanted.
Here is one of the flanges cut out and checked on wood before I take it to the water jet cutter and get it cut out.
Whe have a cnc router but it will not cut stainless
It looks awesome for sure. What makes this different from all the other cylinders out there. Im not saying dont do it or trying to slag on your product just wondering why i should buy this one versus another
This is also a good one I have used it to make single cylinder pipes before. http://underdogsracing.com/fospipe/
Im not sure if the twin cylinders need different calcs for two cylinders going into one pipe. Thats the main reason I have not tried to play with my own pipe for a jetski
The issue with that is with the yamaha engine is that it already has to little transfer port flow for the size of the engine. if you big bore it you are moving into the transfer flow even more with a big bore sleeve. This is just one of the reasons that the stroke is a better option on yamaha...
