Ok, something I just learned about the newer Edges, They do not come with the removable rear sponsons and the rail wraps around like a SJ now. Anybody have the new one? I know Scott Stephens has one and is not over impressed, Chines are deeper causing ski to have a whole lot more bite.

uh, all the aftermarket hulls are basically hand laid. Some have much nicer more professional molds than others...........

Yeah, you cannot do tricks on a SJ................ I agree with alot of what you said. You just have to pick the right hull for what you want........... I could probably still roll this SJ better than my Edge on flat water!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the the problem. There is not a 1 ski does it all platform. There are trade-offs. I have had a -4.3 Carbon Superfreak, it was too light. I love my Edge, but I cannot ride as aggressive as I use to ride my SJ on flat water, But it handles surf riding so much better. Personally...

would take a TPE964 over the 1021 any day of the year. Stock Stroke Crank!!!!!!!! I have a 6mil crank in my DASA and had to have it rebuilt last year. It was a pain to deal with. Would much rather be able to just find an OEM crank and slap in there!

It's similar to a SJ. Not a whole bunch lighter...

Either the 12/17 or 9/15 Hooker will work. I have ran both. If you had the skat already I would not swap.
