Im just starting to cutout the foam and at the bottom of where the foothold will be, there is a big airpocket in the OEM foam:bigeyes: is that normal?

I just got some low speed needles from AJS and they dont thread in much... like they bottom out very quickly (half turn in) and I had to buy one high speed needle and when compared with the factory needle it was slightly shorter and not exactly the same pointed shape... Is this normal?
