Anyone else making the trip in an RV? Monkey offered up some possible parking at his shop. Looking for any and all options incase something falls through. They’ll be 3 or 4 of us in a 27 footer with trailer.

You can a Harmonic puller without issue. Some have trouble due to screwing the three bolts in to far, which damage the charge, pulser or both coils. you only have to thread the bolts the depth of the hole which is less than a 1/4". I use a harbor freight setup which is cheap! the poor quality...

while your hooked........... i have a WestCoast rideplate with the 3/4 fins and a PJS TopLoader intake for the JS hull i would part with.

how can you tell the stator plate is broke if the flywheel is still on? i have a plate 22.00 shipped ( just the plate, no coils) if you do need one.

I have to join the crowd and say WOW... If the trailer flipped and it slid down the road at 60, I don’t think the damage would be that bad. Thanks for the pics

How are you aligning the engine? If you’re doing it with the rubber in, you not able to fine tune with shims. The 550 bearing housing is not forgivable . It has become somewhat amusing, all the guys with new conversions complaining about shacking and not one with any shims after “aligning”...
