i know squat about knots, but I would take the one end go thru the bow eye, then join them and tie both in a knot together( one knot both ends). this will only tighten harder the more it is pulled. hopefully that is a square knot. crap now I have to research knots!

and don't even try to tune the pipe until you get carbs cleaned up. The one I did was pretty close. also fill the heat sensor plug with silicone or remove it from the exhaust and plug it back in and zip tie it up somewhere. it seemed like it was water ingesting and someone on here was nice...
