well Terry- I have had to replace one and know someone who is looking for one. they ain't cheap, and as far as TL its just one more thing to add to the overall cost. it wasn't a slam, just sayin it ain't way easier or cheaper. I think its fair to say they both need some lovin to make em more...

I don't see it. it takes the same work to mount either motor, both need lotsa parts to get the freestyle performance needed, the doos electrical is crappy and more hassle then the yami( to me) unless you have a way to bypass the mpem and lanyard that I don't know about. terry- tell em how...

uh yeah battery. it sounds weak. if you have a voltmeter put it on the battery and watch the voltage when cranking it. if it drops way down its crap.

don't know what mark does. I think I saw a post he made about trying to figure that out. you would have to ask him really.

it was custom made in house. Looking at off the shelf, but had originally planned to use stock blaster or something stock yamaha, but most are pretty flimsy and mount in plastic. waiting till I have the hood made to see if what I want to do will fit like I need it to.
