No woories on the cracks. It does kind of suck having your ski all "spidered" out. It will happen to any sxr that is riden hard. It happens on boats as well around cleats and other high stress areas. Just ride it, imho.

I just read the last 12 pages.................. I'm never going to get that time back am I?
I think anyone/everyone should have pretty thick skin, especially since we are dealing with a internet message board.
I liked the video ........ I also laughed at mark44's smart ass comments...
I need to bring my nose down some. I may start doing giant nose stabs to bring back a more neutral attitude. I am starting to think that with a stock pole my body is not in the best position to get good air, good rotation, and a clean landing. The pole really needs to be shorter. I used to...
Thanks for the tips!
I am afraid I am learning bad habits not having much power. I seem to be trying to get height and when I release off the wave my pole and ski seperate.
Do I need to be tucked prior to leaving the face of the wave?
Does anyone think I was going too slow?
Thanks...
Epic day on the river!
Check these vids.... any advice is welcome. :cheer2:
I think I need to go faster. The ski is stock powered.

Big thanks to xftLOU for taking the pics!

I have this problem as well. The best solution is hoodstraps and not smashing the ski on its side. This, for the most part, is easier said then done.
Good Luck ... it can be done.
