I have done a 440 to 650 conversion...PJS dry pipe, ocean pro head, this thing ripped! But you do run into many many issues that people do not tell you about. In the end it cost just as much to fix up a SN with a 61x as it did the 440/650...And im sooo much happier with the SN
There is no reason to rejet with just adding a pipe, I ran a Sizzler with my stock 6m6 without rejetting and it ran great! Just keep playing with the carb. Honestly its not an easy thing to do, you can go hours just messing with the needles. Yeah i hear ya about daytona, there is not one...
This is an oooolllddd thread but I'm doing some last minute tune ups to my 61x...
I'm running a stock 61x that I just put together and wish to get alittle more UGH out of it for the Daytona ride. I heard to move the stator plate clockwise to advance the timing but I have been reading to move...
I've always wondered why people dont use motorcycle batteries...they are small, POUNDS lighter than a regular walmart battery that people usually use and can crank over my 900RR pretty easy
Thought that through already about the start/stop and throttle. Thanks
Eh, I know..but its something different, I figure everybody else has a jetski, ill put one from the bodybuilding.com forum site up.
The plastic ones, I dont know how the leather would like to constantly be wet.....F*** it, ill just wrap sports tape around the flippin bars if i have to....whatever gets me to the water faster!
awesome, I go to a place called metal supermarket...They are really cool, they cut what I need which keeps the price for me way down. I like the thicker bar anyways, im used to grabbin the throttle on mx bikes anyways
Beefier bars are just better....they had 7/8 bar but it had a thinner wall. Yeah screw the expensive straight bars! These are bigger and better. Very easy to do. Took me maybe 30 minutes
