I know this is a topic change, but I am trying to build a nice hx surf ski. I just got the hull. I plan on getting the light weight hood but my question is would the rocker kit for the blaster be close to the hx? I know it won't be an exact fit but maybe if its close some slight adjustments in...
First let me start by saying I know this is a blaster section but I'm hopeing maybe some of y'all can help. I have always loved the seadoo hx. I got away from them for a while an now on a Sxr. This past year of the Daytona free ride made me want to build a suf set up hx. I am looking for any...
So I tore my ski down awhile back for paint and returf, it is almost back together but I don't remember how the spring was. Can someone please post a few pics of the hand pole spring area for me.
Have you given any thought to a light weight after market hull? Just sayin it sounds like your at the perfect point to spend just a couple dollars more now and get a good used light weight hull. Material lay up would be determined by what you are looking to do (surf or flat water).
Rebuilding the motor in my ski and wondering if anyone can tell me the torque specs for the crank case bolts, cylinder and head. Motor has Ada gradeled head.
I have just recived a 96 seadoo xp800 that has r&d heads and a factory pipe. It was sitting up for a while so I pulled and cleaned the carbs. The motor has 170 lbs of compression in each cylinder. Can anyone help with where a good start with a high aand low starting point would be. I tried with...
I have a 96 xp 800 that has r&d head with 43cc domes and a factory wet pipe spec 2. I know the ski when stock has a t fitting that you hook up the hose with an adapter that is on the back of the head. That fitting is missing and I don't know how to flush i. Do I get and install the t fitting...
So today I was givin a 96 xp with r&d head and a factory pipe. Got it cleaned up carbs cleaned old gas out and fresh gas in and a good battery and it started up just fine. I plan to do a compression test tomorrow and lookin for optimum compression while staying on pump gas. I know my Sxr 800...
Do u have any info about it? When I pulled the cover there was no stator in the center of the flywheel and I didn't see any magnets which is what made me think it's total loss.
so i got my sxr a year ago and it was modded but needed tunning so i was told but it actually had wrong parts for the motor on it and im suprised it even ran, but then the bas gasket got a leak and salt water got to the crank and rusted it. when i pulled the front cover off i found a TL flywheel...
You could use the tbm copper .005 base gasket which will drop the cylinders down adding a small compression increase and also change the intake and exhaust timing that adds more bottom end.
