wax, that is a good idea! and yes...I remember Bernie trying to ride w/ out one. I think that was the year Slutty took his ski away and would not let anyone waste any more time working on it.

I had a stuck bendix also...then after freeing it up the motor was not turning smoothly. And the bendix seemed to be fine, it was just jammed. So I pulled the head and found a nice little piece of the ring stuck in the piston. But the good news is the jugs look fine, just need some new pistons...

yea...unless the guy is just stressed about you selling the skis to someone else cause he thinks he is getting the deal of the century, and is trying to be sure you don't sell the skis out from under him...I can't think of a good reason he would want you to take paypal.

To be honest, I am not sure if O-side is set yet or not. I have not gotten any confiration on that...

I believe Yamasaki got ripped off that way...at least I think it was through paypal...but he found the ********er. I would not do it...ask him why he wants to do that? Is he going to put it on a credit card? If so, I guess you could just tell him to get a cash advance on the card... But...

I really love the FX1, but stock that thing is ugly. I can't imagine having that sitting in my showroom for 11 years :wow:

The ratchet strap and blaster latch are both good ideas. The ratchet seems to be the most secure way I have seen to get it done so far. I am still using a normal latch and straps. And I can't tell you how many times the hood latch has come open on the FX, but with the straps tight, the hood...

I think $2500 would be fair. I don't think I would pay that though. Justin's FX he has for sale on here is priced about there I think, and I would rather have that one. You have to figure you are at least going to drop another grand in aftermarket parts in to it.

ahh pancaker...you are right. Just need to put some footholds in the boat. I'm only running straps right now. But I wanted a little time on the ski before Chris, Rhonda, and Ronny get out here at the end of the month...so I will wait a little..
