If you ride in the surf, the original tubbies are the way to go. They make the ski handel much better. Combine those with a D Cut ride plate and you will be good to go! Where do you ride?

It was already mentioned, but you need to check the internal filter in the carbs. This is on the pump side of the carb and is not hard to get to with the carbs off. Just pull the 4 screws and you will be able to take the two parts of the pump off and will come to the internal fliter, which is...

Thanks for posting those pics... That was about all you will get out of a stock 701! We had a little issue with the Blowsion boat that has the trim and big motor. Surf did not really cooperate with us either. But we will see how the show turns out...
