I would run a ETX12, 180 cca, it's gonna run 2 pumps no problem, still light weight. ETX9's work fine until u suck some water and have to crank the crap out of it in the surf! I'm running a etx14 in my FW freak

Are you going to mount it in the rear or stock front side? Are you running TL? How many pumps are you going to run?

I'm running a XM adjustable pole, works great on my flatwater ski. I have it at -5 with a short steering. Really need another - 1 maybe -2 for a pure flatwater ski. Surf I think you would need a custom XM adjustable, another Badass buyer had XM make a custom pole that has +1 but will go to -2.

IMO if your going to try the powerfactor it needs to be on a PV based motor with atleast 850cc. The new powerfactor waterbox has really helped the bottom end & makes the ski sound like a B pipe so it keeps people happy at the lake. But there's a lot to making this pipe work, timing, prop...

There's a lot to be said about props. But most people just install and ride... I know with my ski I've had the pump in and out more times than I care to say. It's not just the pitch of a prop. It's how you load the prop, washer or no washer, intake grate, reduction bore size, steering nozzle...

Haven't forgot about this project, just been busy... Got the water box done today. Took a Xmetal box & cut the T off, took 1.5 in off, rewelded the T 90 deg from stock. Now it lays perfect in the hull T fits perfect at the bulkhead. Just going to glass two inserts in for a strap & its getting...
