I bought this MSD from Skinnyman, never used it nor did I install, test, etc. I know Larry so have no reason to think theres a problem with unit. Only way to test it would be installing it, which I didn't!
Next I post it FS for the same price I paid... It sells, who knows how it was installed...
Thats big HP I would guess... Rode a buddies new Gen2 x2 with the sxr800 based motor, no way its flipping flatwater
I can't wait until he builds his new one, I here a Dasa 1100 coming to town in a LW Gen2 X2..
The Solas props always seem to be doggie off the bottom... Lucas just got a 12/18 Big hub Solas in his surf ski & it rips..
Washers are good to fine tune a pump, no washer loads the pump more... Install a Washer unloads the pump... Props gotta be close to the right pitch to make the washer...
You should see our freaks... No foam period, just chambers of air... We run open holes 1/4 in on both sides
works great & you drain the tray every time out or when its on the stand
There's so many variations to backflips & all have different ski levels.... I will agree to teach someone to spin 180 & pull a backflip is not hard as long as the person can keep there feet & hands attached to the ski & has the balls to try it... Most guys can't hold on to a ski making big...
Lucas was hanging out with his family at the beach zone today... Family is way more important than riding at some comp out of state... And the 1100 is my ski not lucas's ski...
Just help alex get ready for nationals and WF's!!! I'm sure you will be there to cheer him on
My brother has been watching me ride for yrs now... I'm new to flatwater so its been cool to learn something new, my buddy lucas has pushed me to learn faster... But your right theres skill its not just brap, takes balls to which is what kills most people from learning new tricks
Its going to...
As far as skill the big power makes you learn faster to move from one trick to the other & grouping tricks & combos together... Since I can't ride I'm going to work with my brother for the next 2 wks, I would guess in 2 wks he will be doing them off his setup wake rolls & backflips... After...
Right on tipafew, back on track.....I can get going real quick, even quicker now I'm out of the water for a few weeks with this ear drum crap....
The response on the Dasa 1100 has been great, its cool to see one local & not over seas.... A lot of locals around me have been XS only guys...
When you ride the power factor pipe it makes more power the higher you rev it.... Also a big help is to clear the pipe out before your going for the trick... You will normally see guys brap the gas in setup wakes on & off which keeps the pipe ready to come on strong...
With the 180 BF's IMO...
It sucks I can't ride for 2-3 wks... Screwed my ear drum up
My XS motor hit nice, but this Dasa/Thrust 1100 is just crazy.... No one really needs this much brap, but it sure makes riding so much fun...
Ordering a custom prop, so it will only get better!
I'm still waiting for mine.... Ordered from solomoto on 5/2/2011... Must be related to WDK
Going to call tomorrow & see whats up, might be better off ordering from Ottwa*** place
Thats Droc post had me on the ground rolling....
