most footholds are the same work to install it comes down to what one you like best as far as comfort and fit. only you can decide what is right for you and also where it located in the hull. I know what you are going thru, before my first set I was worried about messing up, where to put em...

    2nd life for engine mounts

the rubber mount is supposed to move to help absorb engine vibration, if you trap the rubber you will transfer that vibration into the inserts in the hull and most likely rip them out. If you ran the bolt in from the top and put a washer and nut welded together it might work to keep the motor...

    After market hulls in general

Lets not forget about long term reliability. most of these new hulls are not proven yet. Time will show who has put the workmanship in and who just talked a good game.

    89 Direct Steer

problem is the cable is made to throw only so far and if you extend past that it can bend the inner cable or get hung up. to me it seems that since the steering throw is short at the bars, it would be a great benefit to have quicksteering as you would need very little movement at the bars to...

    New footholds for 25mm pad

here is where I put the 8mm pad. I also sand the edges down to shape it to the hold. and of course use the 25mm pad on the bottom. you can use it on the other parts but you will probably end up sand most of it off. Nice clean install there. be sure to coat the entire hold with resin to...

    93 B1 into MeanGreen

I would be a little easy on heating the hull insert for the bolt. too much and you risk melting the insert loose in the hull. penetrating oil or visegrips. it breaks you drill it and tap.
