my buddy bought an 08 brand new from yamaha. after about 5 or so rides, flatwater, his entire hull cracked in 2. yamaha or the dealer paid for the hull to be fixed by an outside source. at this time it was reinforced and hasnt broken again

update. fixed the problem. sold it and bought a bored out kawi. thnkz for the help now im ridin.

yeah ive ran it on the trailer and the water with the hood off and on. i cut back the plug wires and cleaned the handlebar switch and now it acts like the solenoid is blown again. i guess im back two square 1. will a bad stator cause the solenoid to crap out? im thinkiin stator. it looks...

im havin the same problem with my 701. tried everthing. runs great for 10 min. then goes into limp mode. bad temperature sensor? check valve? i tried these try them.

ok so i take it out and it runs strong for 10 min. then it goes into like a limp mode and wont take a load it will only idle. if the throttle is depressed, it boggs down and shuts off. so, i clean the carb, replace the spark plugs, drain tank, replace fuel filter, replace check valve, runs...
